About The Arokin
Beachy Indie Anthems for the Daydreamers & Deep Feelers
The Arokin is an indie artist based in Boston, Massachusetts by way of New Jersey, blending indie, indie rock, and alt influences into a sound that’s beachy, angsty, and steeped in storytelling. Inspired by artists like Mac Demarco, Joji, and Lorde, The Arokin’s music feels like the soundtrack to a sun-soaked heartbreak or a quiet moment lost in the woods. Currently in the beginning of “The Arokin Autumn,” a steady rollout of seasonal singles, The Arokin invites listeners to check out their releases—each one pulling listeners deeper into their sonic world of longing, healing, and self-discovery.
Though they’ve been writing their whole life, The Arokin first began recording music at age 16 and officially debuted in March 2025. More than just a project name, The Arokin represents the voice that once lay dormant—the feelings buried beneath the surface, now given space to breathe. “The Arokin has always been my orator, the voice that spoke when mine was gone,” they share. “Now, I know my story and my songs can bring validation, comfort, and joy—and I’ll keep walking in that purpose.” Rooted in themes of deep love, heartbreak, nature, and escapism, The Arokin makes music for anyone who feels too much, crafting lush, emotional tracks that invite listeners to daydream and heal alongside them.
What sets The Arokin apart is their unique perspective—bringing the voice of a young, Black, queer artist into a genre that has historically excluded those identities. Their music carries a fresh energy and raw honesty that’s hard to find elsewhere in indie spaces, with songs that explore identity, longing, and the complicated beauty of vulnerability. Though still early in their career, The Arokin has quickly built a growing community through TikTok, amassing over 1,000 followers in just a few months. For The Arokin, the biggest milestone so far isn’t numbers—it’s connection: “The fact that people are already seeking out my music and videos, and finding meaning in them—it means everything to me.”
With new music dropping all year long, The Arokin’s story is just beginning. Follow The Arokin on socials, stream the latest releases, or get in touch for booking and collaborations.
